BrewDog has released its first batch of beers from its new experimental brewing facility.

OverWorks has been purpose-built to “push the boundaries of what is possible with fermentation,” according to the Scottish craft beer giant.

The beers will focus on seasonality and experimentation, with the first series showing a strong emphasis on sour and wild beers.

OverWorks includes a range of core sour beers, as well as smaller batch limited editions, which are now available online in bottles, as well as in BrewDog bars. They will also be available to buy in person from selected craft beer specialists and bottle shops.

The headline beer is Funk V Punk, a wild beer twist on BrewDog’s flagship Punk IPA. It’s an India Pale Ale aged in foeders. The Cosmic Crush core range includes four sour beers fermented with different fruits, including mango, cherry, quince and pineapple.
